Our team has been a major contributor to solar development in Ohio through developing our own projects, repairing and maintaining 3rd party arrays, our numerous sponsorships and strategic partnerships, and as subcontractees for other companies.

We generate our proposal and production estimates with confidence using Aurora Solar, the most advanced solar modeling software in the industry. Our estimates are based on LIDAR data to determine any obstacles that could cause shade on the array and simulate production based on actual equipment installed, azimuth, irradiance and more.

He helped pioneer Community Solar in Vermont, assisted in developing commercial projects in the Midwest, and designed and built countless residential arrays in Ohio. Alex is now focused on building Village Solar Co. in Yellow Springs as a sustainable business model in pursuit of a post-scarcity future.

He brings his talent for aesthetics, high quality installation experience, and passion for a renewable future to the table. A man of many talents, Jake is also the lead singer and guitarist of The Speaking Suns, a popular Midwestern Indie/alternative rock band.
